Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil.
MSPO 2.0 (MS2530:2022) is the updated certification standard that replaces the previous MS 2530:2013. It introduces stricter criteria on labor rights, deforestation (cut-off date Dec 31, 2019), and traceability. It is the mandatory national scheme in Malaysia for oil palm plantations and supply chains.
Important Update
Effective from January 1, 2025, MSPO 2.0 is mandatory. The standard aligns with global ESG practices and prevents deforestation. Certification applies only to areas not deforested after December 31, 2019.
